1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the StudyPro App, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
Accounts for users under 13 are strictly prohibited.

3. Account Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Keep your login credentials secure

• Use accurate information

• Notify us of unauthorized access

We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

All subscription payments are processed through the Apple App Store.

Refunds

Handled entirely by Apple.
We cannot issue refunds.

Cancellation

Manage at:
iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions

5. License

We grant a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

6. User-Generated Content & Uploads

You retain ownership of content you create or upload.

You grant 1001420084 ONTARIO INC., operating as Synaptica, permission to:

1. Store and process your academic data

2. Process uploaded documents for syllabus extraction

3. Use anonymized and aggregated syllabus data to improve our AI models

We will never publicly disclose or attribute your documents.

7. Prohibited Use

You may NOT:

1. Reverse engineer or modify the App

2. Attempt to bypass subscription limits

3. Share or resell your account

4. Upload harmful or illegal content

5. Use AI tools for academic dishonesty

6. Access or interfere with other users’ data

7. Disrupt our servers or security

8. Scrape or mine App data

9. Use the App for illegal purposes

10. Violate Apple’s platform rules

8. Data, Backups & Availability

StudyPro relies on Firebase sync.
We are not responsible for:

• Device failure

• User deletion

• Sync interruptions

• Data corruption

Users are responsible for maintaining their own backups.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time.

Upon deletion:

• All user data is permanently removed immediately

• Backups/logs follow Firebase’s retention schedule

We may terminate accounts for violations.

10. Disclaimers

StudyPro is provided “as is” without warranties.
We do not guarantee:

• Accuracy

• Uptime

• Bug-free operation

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months

• We are not liable for academic outcomes or data loss

12. Arbitration & Class Action Waiver

You agree that all disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Ontario, Canada.

You waive the right to:

• Sue in court (except small claims)

• Participate in class actions

Arbitration is individual and confidential.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.

14. Modifications

We may update these Terms.
Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance.
